The Galaxy Audio Life Saver is a unique equipment stand stabilizer that may be used in a variety of ways in Audio, Video, Lighting, and Theatre applications. Any mic or speaker stand may become unstable because of a top-heavy center of gravity, a boom extended laterally, or simply because the stand is set on an uneven surface. When filled with Sand or Water the Life Saver provides enough weight at the bottom to stabilize most mic and speaker stand applications. The doughnut shape of the LSR38 ensures that the Life Saver will stay on the base of the stand, even if the stand is pushed or bumped. The LSR38 weighs 38lbs. when filled with sand, and 22lbs. when filled with water. The durable reinforced vinyl material and easy-fill water tight design allow the user to transport the Life Saver empty, and fill with water on location. The LSR38 dimensions are: 16" O.D. x 6" I.D. x 3" Thick. The Life Saver will pay for itself the first time it prevents your expensive mics or speakers from hitting the floor. (Sand/water not included)
May be filled with sand or water
Protects mics and speakers from damage
Helps keep microphone, speaker and lighting stands upright
The Saddle Bag Sand/Water Bag is designed to help improve the stability of speaker, keyboard, mic, lighting stands and many other types of stands. Also great as a boom counterweight. The filled Saddle Bag will help stabilize a top- heavy stand.
Works great on keyboard, speaker, mic, lighting, and many other types of stands.
Great for: bands, churches, theater, broadcast, recording & video production
Dual wing design
Nylon handle with clip

I purchased two of these units to use in the auction business. Have used them for a few months, and so far I love them. Sound quality is great. Battery life is great. Love the ability to link them together. Would buy again.

A lot of product reviews come from people that bought new products. This review is based on purchase of 2 extremely used TV10s that I refurbished. The bottom line is:
Save your money and buy the Galaxy Audio Traveler series instead of cheap imitations that you will replace with galaxy products anyway!!!
After our Choir had to rent these from an audio vendor for a large sum, I sought a permanent solution. I bought cheaper Chinese imitations and were disappointed by lack of gain, toy quality mics and the delicateness of the cheap plastic case. Finally, I stepped up to 2 Galaxy Audio Traveler TV10s that I bought used and refurbished.
The units that I bought were between 7 and 10 years old and were purchased from a production equipment rental.
I disassembled, cleaned and serviced these units. I was astounded by the performance of these units even before servicing, even with one of these having obviously been in a harsh dusty environment. Other than cleaning replacing trolley wheels on one unit and replacing batteries, nothing else had to be done to these units to restore them to new quality!
Everything about these units speaks HEAVY DUTY, from the 10″ speaker with a massive magnet, overbuilt power supply and amp chassis and the thick shatterproof case.
Plug-in user-installable modules for wireless mic receivers, CD or DVD Player, etc. make these units very flexible. The “frequency agile TVHH and TVMBP wireless mics have 96 possible channel selections. These Mics outperform anything sold cheaper than Galaxy Audio products and outperform quite a few that are more expensive, with excellent range and fidelity. Stock inputs and outputs (XLR Mic In, 1/4” TRS Mic in, RCA In/ Out and 3.5mm TRS In / Out are useful. All inputs have a volume control, outputs are not affected by main volume / treble / bass controls.
The TV10 is rated at 100 Watts RMS, even on battery. Do not be fooled by cheap units or even expensive ones that advertise themselves as having “maximum power” of 500 to 1000 Watts. The only way they deliver that level of power is just before their output stage melts! The RMS rating is the only honest rating and, at 100 Watts RMS, per unit, the Galaxy Audio TV10 packs a heck of a punch!
The only 2 things I wish these units had were: Phantom Power Supply for the XLR connector and Stereo pass through for the RCA and 3.5mm inputs/
Finally, in words cannot describe the outstanding support from Galaxy Audio’s tech Support, especially given that I bought these units used and self-serviced these units! They provided outstanding information and documentation, that made these products impress me even more!!
Bottom line, this is the best self-contained battery / AC portables I can find, whose performance, even on battery, rivals the performance of professionally installed house PA systems!
