2007 REP of the YEAR

2007 marked a successful year at Galaxy Audio. Business is growing in new product categories and we have a positive outlook on our future. Our success was due to the many independent sales reps and export distributors, but one person stood out among the crowd. Scott Hough of Griffith Sales was awarded the 2007 Rep of the Year award in Anaheim, CA at the annual Rep Dinner hosted by Galaxy for their sales associates. Scott has exhibited a strong drive to be successful. Scott and Griffith Sales are fairly new to Galaxy Audio. They took over the SE territory (Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, North & South Carolina) just a couple of years ago. "Scott has contributed much to our company, and has delivered territory growth in all product categories we offer", said Yule Jabara, National Sales Manager. "Scott is very appreciated by our company", comments Brock Jabara, President/CEO.

TRAVELER The ALL INCLUSIVE PORTABLE WIRELESS AUDIO SYSTEM

The Any Spot Traveler (AS-TV8); a new battery operated portable PA system. This compact system features an 8” woofer, 1” horn, 50-watt amplifier, and can be configured in a variety of ways to meet your specific needs. Features of the standard traveler include: 2 inputs (XLR/1/4” combo with its own volume control and a dual RCA), 2 band EQ, and a master volume. Audio outputs include a dual RCA line out and a ¼” speaker output to power an additional speaker. The Universal Power Supply/Battery Charger allow the Traveler to be used anywhere in the world. Optional modules include a CD/MP3 player, and echo/delay unit, up to 2 wireless mic receivers (with handheld, headset, & lapel options), and an Audio Link option, which wirelessly transmits the signal to another Traveler. Since all the modules are internally wired, no external patching is necessary. The Traveler is designed for people who need a portable, lightweight, “all in one” PA system that allows for a quick and uncomplicated setup.

Galaxy Audio introduces the Cable Tester (JIB/CT) to its Jacks In the Box line
of problem solvers.

The Cable Tester (JIB/CT) was designed to test cables quickly and simply. The CT tests 6 different types of cables, XLR, ¼”, RCA, 1/8”, Speakon, and DIN (Midi). The CT features a specially designed microprocessor, which tests a cable 200 times per second. The CT has a simple 'Pass/Fail' indicator that lights up when you plug in each side of the cable into the CT and select the number of conductors the cable has. The CT works great for live sound as well as sound installation. This is a must have piece of equipment that goes great in anyone's toolbox.
